The Diamonds International/Montblanc Challenge Stakes & Trophy for West Indian bred 2-year-olds, going 1570 metres, is one of the most competitive races on the Barbados Turf Club’s 10 race card on Boxing Day.

Ten of the best 2-year-olds in training are down to face starter Mark Batson. Dipitinmoney, is coming off of two straight wins, of which both are over 1570 metres, so she could start as the one favoured to win.

Rickoshey, is a good looker, and in only his second start last time out he won, and has to be considered.

Something Happenin, shocked all at the Garrison Savannah on 19 November, when she won first time out at odds of 58/1. She finished as though the 1570 metres should not trouble her.

Aston Martin, is a handsome colt, that is yet to win, finishing second to Dipitinmoney last time out. Should this fellow be held up, and given anything near a good ride, he could be very difficult to beat.

Secret Of Success is a winner, while Roars, Southern Lights, Divine Destiny, and Capere are all capable contenders. (CH)
