Is there a dress code?
There is a strict dress code for attendance to Members, Owners and Trainers, Sponsors Lounge and Corporate Boxes at the Barbados Turf Club. A casual dress code is appropriate for the infield and grandstand seats only. A detailed list can be seen below:
Members’ Lounge / Boxes / Sponsors Lounge
Persons entering the Lounge are asked to dress appropriately. NO slippers, shorts, three-quarter trousers or sleeve-less shirts will be permitted (please call for further details). Persons not complying with the dress code will be prohibited from entering the lounge. Advance booking to this area is advisable. We also recommend these dress regulations be followed for private boxes.
Owners’ and Trainers’ Bar
An ELEGANTLY CASUAL dress code is enforced for this area. Slippers, shorts, three-quarter trousers or sleeveless shirts are not permitted. Please be advised that this area is not air-conditioned. We wish to advise that anyone not appropriately attired will be refused entry to this area.
Grandstand / Field / Chandler Stand
A CASUAL dress code is appropriate.
How much does it cost?
Members’ Lounge
This air-conditioned Lounge is predominately occupied by members of the Barbados Turf Club and their guests. However, the opportunity to view the races from this vantage point is sometimes awarded to persons on a Day Membership basis for BDS$100.00 per person on a standard race day.

Owners’ and Trainers’ Bar
As the name implies this area is mainly occupied by the Owners and Trainers of the various horses raced at the Historic Garrison Savannah. Patrons desirous of gaining entry into this area are required to pay an admission charge of BDS$40.00 each on a standard race day. Children are permitted into the Bar; however those under the age of 14 MUST be properly supervised by an adult. (Contact our office for the admission charge for children).
Grandstand
Patrons can enjoy a beautiful day at the races from within this stand which gives a very good view of the finishing line. Entry to the Grandstand is available to patrons for BDS$20.00 each for adults and BDS$10.00 each for children 12 years and under (standard race day rate). Each admission ticket purchased entitles the bearer to a seat in grandstand.
Field/Chandler Stand
This area offers general admittance to the races for BDS$10.00 per adult whilst children under the age of 12 are admitted FREE. Patrons can either be seated in these stands located on the extreme left and right off the Grandstand or they can opt to view the races from the front of the Grandstand.

How can I purchase tickets?
Admission tickets can be purchased from the Barbados Turf Club office at the Grandstand from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. You can also purchase your tickets online at www.iticektsbarbados.com or in Cave Shepherd Broad Street at the iTickets Barbados Box Office open from 8.30am to 5.30pm Mon – Sat

Are children allowed?
Children are allowed but must be accompanied by an adult.
The serious punter has several options for watching the races. They can enjoy the view from the Grandstand, Owners and Trainers Bar or if they are lucky enough to get an invitation, the luxurious Corporate Boxes or Sponsors Lounge overlooking the famous paddock bend.
